Brief: Launch the Sun-Herald’s exclusive WWF calendar by tapping into Sydneysiders’ increasing concern for the environment.

The Sun-Herald, teamed with WWF-Australia and EnergyAustralia, is offering readers a glossy calendar featuring high quality photo-journalism of endangered animals. The calendar comes complete with useful and educational information about the animals as well as energy efficiency tips.

Brief: Drive up sales of The Sun-Herald by making the free ‘Swing and Soul’ double CD giveaway a must-have Sunday essential.

This was the first job for The Sun-Herald carried out across print, online, TV and radio media. The imagery, CD cover and online were a celebration of the swing and soul era and encouraged consumers to engage with this period of music history. The print work was modeled on pin-up posters from this era. Week I featured an illustration of Louis Armstrong and Week II of James Brown.
