Brief:To contemporise the Rheem brand and communicate it’s product range while leveraging the nostalgic fondness Aussies have always had for Rheem.
Australians have a nostalgic fondness for the Rheem brand, everyone knows the Rheem jingle. But how to convert this fondness into a contemporary preference? Rheem were still seen as a little old-fashioned when in fact their product range demonstrates innovation in water heating. How do we retain our emotional heartland while ensuring consumers and plumbers view us as the contemporary brand? A 30 second brand ad wouldn’t do the job as we needed to communicate the product benefits across their 4 core products. The 4 TVCs developed answered the brief at both a product and brand level.
