Brief: Launch the new turbo diesel Nissan X-TRAIL as the authentic turbo diesel SUV.
Like your pet, your car is an extension of your personality, and the second installment of the successful ‘Not for pretenders’ Nissan X-TRAIL campaign reinforces this.
Launched on July 30 to coincide with the introduction of the turbo diesel model, Whybin\TBWA\TEQUILA\’s latest multimedia campaign strengthens X-TRAIL’s positioning as the tough, rugged and unashamedly authentic 4WD. Whilst tongue-in-cheek, using Boris the Crocodile as a visual representation of the power of the vehicle across TV, OOH, print and online allowed Nissan to deliver a strong message of power and ruggedness, setting it apart from its softer competition.
